Traditional flexible packaging is often composed of multiple materials (such as PET/PE) that are difficult to recycle in order to achieve barrier properties and other functions. The current core trend in the industry is to develop "single material" packaging (such as using PE or PP for all). Through process innovation, barrier and heat resistance properties can be achieved on a single substrate. This not only maintains the advantages of soft packaging, but also makes it easy to sort and recycle, significantly improving the recycling rate, in line with global circular economy policies, and is a key path for sustainable development of packaging.
